About Shorea
Hi! I’m Shorea, your friendly Indonesian tutor.
I live in Australia and plan to stay here for a longer time to study!
I’ve been passionate about teaching since high school, tutoring, hosting webinars, and creating fun educational content online. My lessons are interactive, practical, and full of personality, so you’ll learn Indonesian confidently, naturally, and enjoyably!
I love helping students of all ages (from children just starting out, to beginners, and even advanced learners) speak Indonesian confidently and naturally.

Shorea's teaching Approach & Techniques
1. Interactive & personalized: Every lesson is tailored to your level, interests, and goals.
2. Practical focus: I emphasize language you can actually use, not just theory.
3. Engaging activities: For kids, we use games, storytelling, and visual aids to make learning memorable. For advanced learners, we practice complex conversation, cultural context, and professional communication.
4. Supportive environment: Mistakes are part of learning! I encourage confidence and curiosity in every student.
