I had the pleasure of meeting José Javier while we were both doctoral students at Western University, where we were classmates. From the beginning, it was clear that Javier is an exceptionally knowledgeable person, not only in literature, but also in film, video games, and many other areas. He has a genuine passion for sharing what he knows, and he does so with generosity, patience, and empathy.

I also had the opportunity to see him teach, as he taught Spanish courses at the university. He always came to class thoroughly prepared and created a safe, motivating environment where students felt comfortable participating and learning. His classes were engaging, and it was evident how much care he put into making sure everyone felt supported.

José Javier is dedicated, brilliant, and a natural teacher. I would recommend learning with him a thousand times over, anyone studying literature with him is very lucky.

Javier’s explanations are very clear, and he’s incredibly patient, respectful, and attentive. He does a great job of making complex concepts easy to understand.

Javier’s explanations are very easy to follow, he’s super patient and respectful

Javier was my Spanish professor in my second year of university. He is a professor that approaches teaching with a genuine passion and love for his students. He takes the time and care to make sure all of his students understand the content, and is lenient and understanding as well. Truly recommend him as a professor!

I highly recommend José Javier as a Spanish tutor. He’s patient, knowledgeable, and makes learning enjoyable and easy to understand. He tailors each lesson to the student's needs and creates a supportive environment that builds both confidence and language skills. Anyone looking to improve their Spanish would be in great hands.
