About Lorenzo
I am an Italian football coach and mentor with experience teaching young children and adults at all levels of proficiency. I grew up in Tuscany and completed the notorious Italian Liceo Classico! Then, I moved to the UK 7 years ago to complete Undergraduate and Masters degrees and to start a career in coaching and teaching. Most recently, I have been a professional football coach in English League One.

I experienced first-hand what is required to learn a foreign language: it is all about practicing communication! My teaching method focuses on exposing my students to a variety of contexts where they can practice their Italian speaking skills. I am calm, friendly and patient because I understand the struggles of learning a new language.

Lorenzo helped me understand some of the coaching techniques and principles given his experience in coaching football. I have directly seen his coaching style both in person and online and the delivery of his lessons is incredibly tailored to each student. His knowledge of football and the passion he has for this sport really come through everytime he talks about it. He also puts a lot of passion and effort while preparing the sessions for everyone.
Lorenzo is a very talented tutor and extremely reliable. He’s improved my son’s skills with a mix of in person and online sessions. My son was always super excited to join the sessions with Lorenzo as he had loads of fun, but also learned a lot from his diverse methodology. In particular, he loved watching and discussing clips from other players and felt like each session was tailored to what he needed to improve his game. He’s definitely going to keep having more lessons with Lorenzo!
