When did you develop an interest in your subject and in private tutoring?
I developed an interest in forex way back in 2018, I started learning the basics and soon became a professional on the subject. I started teaching a lot of people physically at their homes how to trade forex. I recently started tutoring online through zoom and google meet.
Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students
Forex is the exchange of currencies. The Forex market is where retail traders, corporations and the government come to perform this transaction. The Forex market is also referred to as the 'Fx market' or the 'Foreign exchange' and it is the largest and most liquid market in the world. Its daily turnover has been estimated to be about $5.3 trillion, meaning that if the right strategies and risk management are executed properly, you will be profitable. I will explain the basics and terminologies associated with forex, then we will break down on how to use the software to trade forex, then more on strategies and risk management plans to use.
Did you have any role models? Perhaps a teacher that inspired you?
In learning forex or any other subject, the role of a role model should not be underrated. I started learning forex by myself for a little while before I had to get tutored by a professional in the field. Still date, when I have a difficult problem or questions, he puts me through effortlessly.
What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
A good tutor should be attentive and observant. I say this because most people I tutor are beginners completely new to forex, so they make a lot of mistakes in identifying patterns in the market. A good tutor should know when to correct his students and show them the right way.
Could you share an anecdote related to your subject or your student days?
When learning forex, it got to a time when I was confused on which analysis is better to trade with: technical or fundamental analysis. Technical talks on using patterns and candlestick to identify opportunities in the market while fundamental talks on using the state of the economy to identify opportunities. I later realized that both is important but a trader should choose one and continue with it. I chose technical analysis.
Did you face any difficulties at school or university?
Yes, but with proper mentorship and a supportive mentor I overcame it.
Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general, an element of this particular subject, or something completely different?
I love teaching in general, even before I started teaching forex classes I have taught in secondary schools.
What makes you a Superprof?
Being able to put a complete beginner to Professional trader in period of two months. I just need that the student has the zeal to learn.
