About Preston
Code provides the most efficient way to model reality, which is why I teach programming. I have spent 8 years of experience refining technical skills for 65 students, drawing upon my PhD from Caltech to explain how backend systems and APIs function. My work centers on project-based learning, C++, JavaScript, and clean code practices to help you transition from beginner to problem solver on coding platforms.
I truly enjoy seeing students master object-oriented programming and HTML and CSS architecture. It is a rewarding process.

Starting with a GitHub repo set up to track each student's progress, we jump straight into meaningful architecture. I bring my years of experience in computational research to ensure you write efficient backend code. We tackle problems by isolating components, testing them, and integrating them into larger systems.
You will learn how to debug logic errors in C++ or structure web pages using modern HTML and CSS standards. Tracking your own development history keeps you accountable as we advance.
