About Jonathan
Local to St Albans and Hemel for over 25 years. Graduated in 2017 with a First Class BSc in Mathematics from Coventry University. I love to teach maths and I hope my enthusiasm for the subject will transfer to my students.
I have been involved in various tutoring schemes from as early as 2007, where I assisted students in the school years below me who needed the extra help. This early introduction to tutoring kicked off my passion for teaching. Since graduating and entering full time employment, I have always made time to keep up my tutoring, purely for the gratification of the job. My 10+ years experience freelancing have been invaluable and I welcome new students of all ability levels.

I understand well the stress that many students feel during exam season and it is my aim to alleviate this and inspire the confidence that will help them succeed.
You should contact me if you need tuition in any kind of maths up to A-Level and are looking for expert knowledge that will visibly improve your maths.
I have a very patient approach to tutoring and try to involve my students as much as possible to help them understand how to improve. I'm always happy to provide thorough feedback after each session. I encourage independent work from my students and a student's complete understanding of a subject is my priority (not just regurgitating taught information), therefore, I aim for my lessons to be clear and concise whilst encouraging an environment where students can feel comfortable asking any question.
