My lessons are problem- based using research- based best practices to make students think critically. The problems are based in real world scenarios that children will find relatable, and that holds the attention of the students. Not everything in math can be explored through problems and some topics will need direct instruction and practice. Both styles have a place and value in today’s math instruction.
