About Sugar

Hi! I'm a Year 12 student currently studying in New Zealand. I enjoy learning languages, discovering new vocabulary, and communicating with people. I understand that learning English can sometimes be challenging, especially when it is not your first language.

I want to tutor because I would love to help other students improve their English skills and become more confident in communicating with others. As a Filipino student studying in an English-speaking environment, I understand the importance of practicing English in everyday situations.

I am patient, approachable, and willing to adapt to each student's learning needs. I believe that everyone learns differently, so I aim to make learning comfortable, encouraging, and enjoyable.

I may still be developing my tutoring experience, but I am enthusiastic about helping others learn and grow. I look forward to supporting students as they improve their English, one lesson at a time!

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for beginner English learners who want to improve their grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and everyday speaking skills. As a Year 12 student in New Zealand, I understand the challenges of learning and communicating in English.

I aim to create a friendly, patient, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I can use simple explanations, practical examples, reading activities, and conversation practice to make learning easier and more enjoyable.

Each lesson will be adapted to the student's English level, needs, and learning goals. I can also explain concepts in Tagalog when helpful. Lessons can include vocabulary exercises, sentence construction, basic grammar, reading comprehension, and everyday conversations.

Sessions can be arranged online or in person, with each lesson lasting approximately 45–60 minutes. My goal is to help students gradually improve their English skills and become more confident communicating in everyday situations.
