About Salli
I have a masters degree in journalism from UC Berkeley; served as a speech writer for the chancellor at Vanderbilt University; taught magazine writing and freshman composition at the college level (English department at Southwest Missouri State University, Literature department at University of North Carolina-Asheville); developed programs for African American rising 4th grade males in Asheville schools; tutored students from Latin America to improve their writing and reading skills; and written hundreds of grants for College Summit/Peer Forward, a national organization that support low-income high school students continuing their education in well-matched colleges and universities.
