About Allison
I am an engineer with a wide variety of skills and interests. In addition to math, I am well versed in science and technical writing, as well as fitness and music! I was a private writing tutor for 3 years in college, working with over 150 students each semester. Additionally, I do personal training with a handful of coworkers. I thrive on making a difference in people's lives and the best way for me to do that is with one on one interactions.

My teaching method is dynamic based on the individual. Everyone has their own learning style and I am very adaptive to each person's needs. My teaching style ranges from visual to verbal to interactive. Everyone should have fun learning so I attempt to make everything as interesting and relatable as possible! Additionally, I find it extremely important to understand why what the student is learning is important. Being able to apply it in real life makes learning that much more rewarding.
