About Andres
Hello! Hola! ASL is a passion of mine since I was little. I love helping people discover how fun and meaningful ASL can be. I have been a teacher for over 12 years. I’ve had the opportunity to work with students of many different ages, abilities, and backgrounds—including Deaf and Hard of Hearing, DeafBlind, hearing and visually impaired students.
Whether you’re learning ASL because you have a Deaf family member, want to communicate with someone in your community, need ASL for work or school, or simply want to learn a new language, I’ll meet you where you are and help you build confidence along the way. I also speak Spanish and enjoy working with Spanish-speaking families who want to learn ASL.
My goal is simple: to help you feel comfortable using ASL in the real world while enjoying the process of learning!

My American Sign Language (ASL) lessons are personalized to each student’s goals, interests, and current skill level. Whether you’re a complete beginner, looking to improve your conversational skills, or want to build confidence using ASL, lessons are designed to meet you where you are and help you make meaningful progress.
Lessons are available online or in person throughout Northern Virginia. I like to keep lessons engaging and interactive by incorporating slides, short videos, movies, games, conversation practice, and real-life signing activities. We can even take field trips!
