About Megan
I’m a native English speaker from Canada and have lived in the United States for the past five years. I have over 10 years of experience helping others with communication and self-expression. I’ve always had a deep appreciation for Japanese culture, and I truly enjoy connecting with Japanese students and supporting their language goals. My teaching style is calm, friendly, and encouraging. I focus on helping students feel comfortable speaking naturally, without pressure or fear of mistakes. I'm professional, reliable, and genuinely enjoy creating a warm space where learning can feel enjoyable and empowering.

I offer relaxed, conversation-based English lessons for Japanese learners of all levels. Each session is focused on helping you speak more naturally and confidently, using real-world topics that interest you. I gently correct pronunciation and grammar while keeping the tone friendly and encouraging. My background includes over 10 years supporting people with communication challenges, so I specialize in helping shy, sensitive, or nervous students feel at ease. Whether you’re preparing for a trip, studying English for school or work, or just want to talk more freely — I’m here to support your growth. Please note, sessions are not one hour. I usually offer 20–30 minute sessions, which many students find easier to fit into their day. • 20 minutes = $10 • 30 minutes = $15 Just let me know your preferred length when booking!
