About Surija
I became an English teacher because I love reading great books, and I love creative writing too. I love the way writers can use hidden meanings and symbols and we as readers have to figure it all out! That is exactly what teaching English is about- a puzzle waiting to be solved.

I am the type of teacher that will take you through texts, exam style questions and techniques step by step. I will model responses for you and get you to write parts of responses for me to give feedback on. I will endeavour to make the sessions fun and interactive as I know you will already have a heavy homework load. My lessons will last 45 minutes and are aimed at students in secondary school- so aged 11-16.
