About Ethan
Hi - I'm Ethan!
I'm not quite sure why, but for some reason, I have this deep pull towards educating. It brings me a lot of joy to help others, and so I'm pretty lucky that this exists as a job.
I further exercise this in my day-to-day life through my work on a Financial Education Startup, which is what I work on full time, alongside my tutoring. I'm hoping that someday soon, I'll be able to help way more people than I can by tutoring alone.
I'll always try to keep sessions comfortable and casual, while ensuring you are as prepared as you can be. I'm always happy to tailor the session to you, because only you know how you learn best.

Hi there! My name is Ethan, and I graduated in 2024 as the Dux of my school, with an ATAR of 99.35.
Throughout my studies, I received the following study scores:
Business Management: Raw 50ss (2023) + Premiers Award.
General Maths: Raw 50ss (2024)
I maintained rank 1 for the entire year in a competitive cohort, with both SAC and exam scores in the 95-100% range.
I am posting here to advise of a newly open round of positions for private tuition - a great chance to hit the new year running!
I have been tutoring a range of subjects, including Business, Accounting and Maths for over 3 years now, in both group and private settings.
Sessions are run online, a choice that I've made after running both online and in person classes, as I find most students find the quality of online sessions to be higher + more engaging. As a result, I have invested in high quality equipment to make the learning experience top notch for my students.
Tutorials are by default run as 1-1 so as to provide specific and focused help to the student.
Alternatively, if you’ve got a few friends and are keen for group classes at a discounted rate, small group sessions are also available!
Classes will run by default in 1.5 hour blocks, with varying length options. Frequency is at the discretion of the parents, although I have found 2 x 1.5 hour weekly lessons to be of the greatest effect.
Discounted rates are available for a 2 hour session!
I believe in a very practical approach to both these subjects, a method that allowed me to succeed upon learning how to answer the questions properly, placing a focus on mark breakdown, detailed analysis and other skills that are crucial under exam pressure.
I have multiple valuable assets to offer, including but not limited to additional practice exams, marked SAC and exam material and other practical exercises to help your child succeed.
