About James
I'm a second year software engineering student at the University of Sydney. I completed my HSC in 2020 achieving a 98.00 ATAR, with band 6's in Advanced Math, Chemistry, Physics, Software Design & Development, and band E4's in Extension 1 and Extension 2 Math.
I've been using Python for 6 years, and am proficient in C, Java, and UNIX system administration. I'm passionate about sharing knowledge and helping people understand difficult concepts.

My methodology is to iterate through topics in a course, following a reference material and explaining concepts and solutions in simple language and diagrams from the ground up when necessary. Every skill or item of knowledge requires a foundation and all too often our education system leaves people with critical gaps in their knowledge bases.

James helped me learn the basics and even more when it came to python. He had me creating my own discord bots and giving me other projects and tasks to attempt in order to automate everyday tasks on my computer. He was immensely concise with all instructions given and made sure to not just take over and tell me how to complete it, but slowly "feed" me little tips and tricks so I could get the projects done, still allowing me to feel a great sense of accomplishment.
