About Paolo
I have graduated from the University of Glasgow with a BSc (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computing Science, and I am currently studying for my Master's degree in Algebra, Geometry and Number Theory at the Leiden University and Université de Bordeaux.
I have prior experience in teaching: I worked as a private music teacher, as a primary school maths teacher, as an online tutor for programming... My goal is to make my students bridge the gap between just learning facts and packaging them into a personalized, intuitive concept.

My lessons are flexible and I can adapt to your needs. For example, I can go through a fixed curriculum to prepare for exams, or offer more unstructured support to work specifically on areas you're struggling with. Or I can even just offer a deeper insight into subjects you might be interested in (without necessarily preparing for examinations).
I believe that the only way to learn something effectively is to engage in active learning (producing content rather than just consuming it). This is what I try to implement in my lessons.

Perfect! Paolo is an awesome smart tutor, I was stuck with some projects and was looking for a tutor. Which I had difficulty finding an excellent one like Paolo. He really helped me with the tasks I had and made me understand each concept. One of the things I really enjoyed is his method of learning by applying and teaching at the same time. I'm really glad I found him.

Perfect! This guy is a genius and has incredible empathy! He works unbelievably hard to teach and help boost a student's confidence and uses his razor sharp intelligence to teach in interesting ways and new techniques. Deep knowledge, kind manners, good teacher.
Great tutor! Really good at explaining abstract maths concepts clearly and will also make sure you've understood the material well! Incredibly patient and supportive too. :)
Two teachers at the Musician High School recommended us they both Paolo, one of their professional grade student with brilliant results and with a high sensitivity to communicate his knowledge. Our teenager son took classes with Paolo during two different periods with very satisfactory results in motivation and progress.
Not only for these reasons that we absolutely recommend Paolo but for his compromise and self evaluation results on student.We have been mates for so long (almost 8 years) and during all this time he has helped me a lot in every subject of high school.
