About Maryam
I am currently a Scientia Ph.D. student from the school of Engineering at the University of New South Wales. I joined Water Research Laboratory, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering school in 2019. In my high school, bachelor’s degree, and Master’s degree, I was ranked 1st with flying colors.
I have various tutor/mentoring experiences since I have finished high school. At UNSW, I have taught various Civil Engineering courses to undergraduate students. I am highly interested in working as a tutor for courses in physics and mathematics that I am good at.

My teaching method is adaptive. We know that all learners are different. However, my educational presentations and materials are not the same for all. This can solve a learning problem, by avoiding putting a burden on the learner to figure out how to engage with the content and avoid learners to be bored, others to be lost, while more learners are likely to discover paths through the content that result in my optimal learning. I use data about a learner’s previous and current learning to create a personalized path through my educational content.
