About Alex
I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto working towards a double major in computer science.
I have experience in competitive programming which helps with problem-finding and solving.
I have been programming for about 6 years and computer science has always been a big passion of mine. Anything technology-related interests me.
With these skills, I believe I can not only help students with high school computer science but also help prepare them for post-secondary computer science studies, should that be the goal.

I feel one of the most effective ways to learn computer science is through solving problems. A typical lesson should introduce a few concepts and then have the student work on related problems to cement these concepts before moving on. This approach to computer science has helped me in the past and I believe is very effective for students new to computer science at the high school level and beyond.
