About Priya
Hi! My name’s Priya and I’m currently studying a double degree in a Bachelor of Computer Science and Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Queensland. I graduated from Brisbane State High School with strong results in Math Methods, Physics, Biology, Philosophy, English, and Business. I work as a private tutor with experience teaching students from Prep to Year 12, and I’m passionate about breaking down tricky concepts in a way that’s clear, supportive, and engaging. I'm also fluent in both English and Hindi, and love working with younger students to build their confidence and skills! :)

I aim to tutor in the most suitable learning style of each student, helping them build a strong foundation in Math, Science & English. Lessons can be pre-planned by me based on the student’s level, or guided by what they bring — such as schoolwork or homework tasks they need extra help with.
With each session, I focus on building confidence, simplifying tricky concepts into digestable chunks of information, and tailoring my teaching to suit each student’s pace. My sessions are warm, structured, and designed to keep students engaged while making real academic progress.

Lessons are tailored to your child’s level and learning style to make maths engaging and easy to understand. I also provide guidance and tips for independent practice between sessions.
