About Krishan
Hi, I’m Krishan, a passionate tutor dedicated to helping students conquer the complexities of GCSE Maths, GCSE Chemistry, and A-Level Chemistry. Both Maths and Chemistry have a reputation for being some of the toughest subjects a student can face, but I believe that anyone can master them with the right guidance. Often, the barrier isn't a lack of ability—it is just how the concepts are explained. I want to teach because there is nothing more rewarding than transforming frustration into genuine confidence and top-tier exam results.
I have had past volunteering experiences in local primary schools, as a Maths and Science Assistant supporting pupils. Also, within my Sixth Form I was elected as a GCSE Chemistry and GCSE Mathematics Mentor. Both students were able to achieve at least 2 grades higher than predicted, securing amazing results.
With strong tutoring experience, and successful student outcomes, I can guarantee you that we will work together to ensure you get the grades you deserve at both GCSE and A-Level, whether it be Chemistry or Mathematics.

Target Setting: Our first Lesson will outline clearly your personal goals. We clearly map out personal targets and identify specific areas of improvement, whether mastering a single complex topic or navigating an entire syllabus.
Active Recall & Spaced Repetition: Many lessons begin with a 5 minute recap of the previous lesson, ensuring that students don't forget what they were recently taught.
Interactive Digital Whiteboard: I use an engaging online whiteboard where we will solve problems together in real time.
Exam-Board Specific Coaching: We break down real past paper questions. I teach you exactly how to spot "trigger words" and score maximum marks from mark schemes, tailored both for Chemistry and Mathematics.
Lessons at a standard are 60 minutes Long, per week, for 11+, GCSE and A Level Students. 60 Minute Sessions for exam preparation or in-depth topic teaching. I will also offer 30 minute lessons for quick reviews and homework.
(For 11+ I specialise in Mathematics, but will support in other areas)
I am now pursuing an integrated Master's degree in Chemistry with Management Studies at UCL.
