I am a highly motivated Computer Science undergraduate at the University of Bath with a strong academic background and a professional approach to tutoring. After being predicted low grades, I was able to achieve top A-level and GCSE results which means I understand exactly what is required for you to improve and achieve the best results. I take a structured but flexible approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the student’s level, learning style and goals. At the start of lessons, I assess understanding through targeted questions, then explain concepts clearly using step-by-step methods and worked examples. I place strong emphasis on active problem-solving, exam technique and addressing common mistakes, using past paper questions where appropriate. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though I am happy to offer longer sessions for A-level students or exam preparation. Each session has a clear focus, with time for guided practice and questions to ensure confidence by the end of the lesson. I am currently studying Computer Science at the University of Bath and achieved 4 A* grades at A-level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science, as well as 9 9s and 2 8s at GCSE. This allows me to teach effective strategies that work in real exams and relate well to students going through the same courses. My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-level students, typically aged 14-18, across Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science at A-level, and a wider range of subjects at GCSE.
