About Ashira
Hi, my name is Ashira, I am 19 years old. I started to take an interest in music when I was 7 years old. By the time I was 10 I was doing trinity rock&pop guitar and singing. Later on, I went into doing grades for trinity classical singing and classical and rock school guitar. Around this time I also built my confidence by performing at school, concerts, hotels and events. At 14, I started doing covers and currently I am practising for my upcoming grade 7 trinity classical guitar and singing and grade 7 rock&pop singing. I am being taught by three professional vocal coaches and two professional guitar teachers. I currently study at BIMM university doing a course in vocals preformance. I have learnt so much over the course of 9 years and would love to spread my knowledge with future musicians. :)

I like to teach in a way that's both fun and professional adhering to the students' needs. Singing students require no instruments, however, a keyboard or piano would be beneficial. Guitar students require an acoustic/classical/electric guitar. I like to make sure my students are comfortable and that they fully understand my teaching before moving ahead. If students are having a hard time grasping the practical knowledge, I like to play or sing along with them to make them understand the notes better. Exercises are key to developing vocal/instrumental techniques and help enhance existing skills. I focus mainly on correcting and complementing their natural tone and abilities.
