About Anjalee
I am currently a psychology undergraduate student at the University of Warwick. As a middle school student, I remember the struggle to make logical arguments for argumentative essays and make descriptive essays more engaging. After my English teacher taught me the minor tactics and even encouraged me to write a memoir during COVID to solve the knots, I regained my confidence and my writing skills improved significantly as seen in my secondary grades. Despite being new to tutoring, I hope to be the teacher who once reassured and believed in me for all the other students struggling to grasp the same techniques I once thought was impossible.

For essay writing, content will mainly be taught on how to master the typical characteristics of an essay like a solid structure, clarity, or the descriptive elements. The typical length of a lesson will be one hour. As an IB Diploma awardee, I have gained significant experience in writing reports, essays, reflections etc. Despite being a non-native speaker, I have an A* for IGCSE English as a First Language and a 6 for Higher Level English A in IB. I aim to teach ages 9 - 15 with support needed for organising essay thoughts and making descriptive essays more sensory.
