About Paul
I have been working as a tutor for close to a year with both GCSE level and Primary school students, helping these students to reach their full potential in many subject areas. My strongest subjects are Maths, Physics and Chemistry. At GCSE Level, I achieved an A* in Maths and Further Maths, and an A in Physics and Chemistry and I am now studying a Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying.

I adapt my teaching to suit each individual. Whether they learn visually, verbally or through written work, I can help them progress. The focus is on identifying barriers to learning and overcoming them together. We will begin by identifying both strengths and weaknesses and then focus on strengthening the understanding of the weaker topics. We will set achievable targets, and assess these on a weekly basis. Learning is about making the topics enjoyable as well, which I will strive to do at all times. I have a cache of topic specific lesson plans which I use in order to keep the student on target and focused during the lesson and I set homework regularly in order to strengthen my students' knowledge and confidence of a topic.
