About Mona
I have always been passionate about science and enjoy learning about how chemistry explains the world around us. Over time, I discovered that I also enjoy helping others understand the subject and feel more confident in their abilities.
I want to teach because I understand that chemistry can sometimes feel confusing or intimidating when concepts are not explained clearly. As a student myself, I know how important it is to have someone patient and supportive who can break topics down into simpler steps. I want to help students overcome that stress and show them that chemistry can become much easier with the right guidance and practice.
My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace. I enjoy seeing students gain confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve results they are proud of.
I am patient, organized, and committed to helping every student reach their academic goals while making lessons engaging and productive.

I offer chemistry lessons up to Grade 12 level. My teaching approach focuses on making chemistry simple, interactive, and easy to understand rather than relying on memorization only. I break down difficult concepts step by step, use real-life examples, and guide students through practice questions to build both understanding and confidence.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and academic needs. I help students with school coursework, exam preparation, homework support, and strengthening weak areas. I also focus on improving problem-solving skills and teaching students how to approach chemistry questions effectively.
A typical lesson usually lasts between 1 to 2 hours depending on the student’s needs and goals. During lessons, I combine explanations, worked examples, and active practice to ensure students stay engaged and fully understand the material.
I have a strong background in chemistry and experience helping students understand challenging topics in a supportive and patient learning environment. Having recently completed advanced science courses myself, I understand the common struggles students face and know how to explain concepts in a clear and relatable way.
My lessons are suitable for middle school and high school students, including beginners as well as students preparing for exams up to Grade 12 level.
