About Bruno
My name is Bruno and I earned my undergraduate and doctorate degrees from Oxford University. I am originally from Slovenia and came to the UK in 2014 to start my undergraduate degree in Chemistry at St John's College Oxford. Having graduated with a 1st class degree and developed a passion for research I have decided to pursue a DPhil in organic chemistry. During this time I was given an opportunity to teach in college and this ignited my passion for education and helping others to appreciate the elusive yet elegant field of chemistry.

A lesson will be set out like an Oxford tutorial. You will be given a problem set to complete or a topic to revise, that you will send to me before the lesson. I will mark it and we will spend approximately 1 hour going through your answers and filling in any gaps in knowledge you might have. Over the past 4 years I have been teaching organic chemistry to undergraduates at St John's College, I have taught over 40 students so far with almost all of them scoring 1st class marks in organic chemistry. I also have a teaching qualification and became an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2021. My lessons can be adapted to any level of understanding and I am happy to adapt to different learning approaches should you feel the one outlined above will not work for you. If you want to I am also happy to help with application writing, personal statements and interview prep for Oxford or Cambridge admissions.
