About Laila
Hi, I'm Laila, a UAE-permitted private tutor based in Abu Dhabi. I hold a BSc in Economics from SZABIST and currently teach O and A Level Economics at Zai Institute. I've been tutoring students since 2017, including Economics and Business Studies.
Before teaching, I worked as a Financial Risk Management Consultant at KPMG, where I applied economic and business concepts to real decisions. This helps me bring both subjects to life beyond the textbook.
I enjoy helping students not only achieve strong grades, but truly understand how businesses and the economy work around them.

My lessons cover O and A Level Economics and Business Studies, tailored to each student's level, syllabus and goals. I start by identifying gaps in understanding, then build a clear plan across microeconomics, macroeconomics, international trade and key business concepts.
I focus on what examiners look for: accurate diagrams, strong analysis and evaluation, and well-structured essays, case studies and data-response answers. We practise past paper questions regularly, and I give detailed feedback so students know exactly how to improve their marks.
I use real-world examples and current events to make these subjects interesting and easy to remember. Lessons are structured, supportive and focused on building confidence for exams.
