My approach focuses on clarity, structure, and practical understanding rather than rote memorisation. I aim to help students understand why concepts work, not just how to apply formulas or procedures. I adapt explanations to the student’s current level and learning style, using real-world examples, step-by-step breakdowns, and guided problem solving. I also emphasise building confidence, independent thinking, and exam-ready skills.
Techniques and methodology
Diagnostic assessment of the student’s strengths and gaps
Structured explanations from fundamentals to advanced topics
Worked examples followed by supervised practice
Breaking complex problems into manageable steps
Visual aids, diagrams, and real-life analogies where helpful
Feedback on assignments, reports, and exam preparation
Emphasis on problem-solving strategies and time management
Typical lesson length
Sessions are usually 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. Longer sessions can be arranged for project work, exam preparation, or intensive revision.
