About Odette

Hello! I’m a French tutor with over 3 years of experience and a PhD in French Linguistics. I specialize in teaching teenagers aged 13 to 18 by connecting language learning with French youth culture. My lessons include popular music, social media trends, and teen films to keep students engaged and motivated. I focus on teaching contemporary slang and conversational fluency, helping students speak French that feels real and current. My approach makes French relatable and memorable by bringing everyday teen experiences into the classroom. This helps students feel connected to the language and culture. I love creating dynamic lessons that spark curiosity and confidence. Whether it’s chatting about the latest viral video or exploring French pop stars, I make learning fun and relevant. My goal is to nurture both language skills and a genuine connection to French culture. Together, we build skills that go beyond textbooks. I’m here to help young learners find their voice and feel proud speaking French. Let’s make your French journey exciting and full of confidence!

About the lesson

I offer interactive and supportive French lessons that balance structure with spontaneity, perfect for students passionate about music, theatre, and artistic expression. My teaching covers song lyrics analysis, play scripts, character dialogue, and expressive pronunciation to help you connect deeply with French in creative ways. Each lesson is dynamic and engaging, using a variety of artistic tools to keep learning fresh and inspiring.

I focus on practical language skills that you can use immediately, whether performing on stage or preparing for exams. You’ll build confidence in speaking and understanding French through immersive, imaginative participation. My approach encourages creativity while ensuring steady progress.

I work closely with conversational learners and exam takers alike, tailoring sessions to your unique goals. Together, we’ll explore French as a vibrant, living language—perfect for artistic pursuits. Every session aims to unlock your potential and make French a powerful part of your creative journey.
