About Tayla
Since starting high school I have often given support to over a dozen other students in English, Maths, and Science. For example, proofreading and helping with structure and grammar with essays; and, support to understand statistical analysis and interpretation.
I have been on the principal's top scholar list in both Year 9 and 10. In Year 10 I was one of the top 3 scholars for the full year, and overall top scholar in English.
I have been a Junior Tutor in performing arts and have placed highly in school speech competitions.

I focus on helping and encouraging students to understand the theory behind the problems they are solving and the work they are doing. I help them to solve problems themselves, using questioning and prompting - rather than simply telling them the answers.
