About Rafael
Growing up I struggled academically due to not having access to the right resources or tutors in order to reach my academic potential. After many years of consistent hard work, I have been able to refine my personal studying strategy to the point where I can study efficiently, improving my year 12 predicted grades from DCB to AAA within a year. I love teaching students because there is so much beauty in helping someone reach their academic potential and it would be an honour to be a part of someone's success story.

My approach to tutoring is all but traditional. I prefer a dynamic teaching style, forcing my tutees to actively think for themselves and introducing memory-retaining study techniques to boost learning. To make the most of a session, 1 to 2 hours is optimal - to cover material in sufficient detail. In my first year of university, I tutored secondary and A-level students, then transitioned to university-level tutoring of medicine. My lessons do not discriminate by age or level, but by willingness and determination to learn and improve. Depending on my tutee's level of education and goals, I can adapt my teaching style to fit their needs.
