About Till
Ideally, I'd like to present a perfectly straightforward CV here. However, that doesn't exist, as I myself struggled to meet the required academic standards during my school years. Despite these initial difficulties, I completed a degree in engineering through continuing education and am now pursuing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Renewable Energies. I believe that my own experiences have given me a particular empathy for learning difficulties and for dealing with problems in both university and school. On the one hand, I want to help you pass your next exam; on the other hand, I find it especially important to develop an interest in the subject, as I believe that school often stifles this interest. I look forward to supporting you in achieving your goals!

My lessons aren't meant to be typical, dry tutoring where problems are simply worked out. It's important to me that you truly understand what you're doing and gradually gain more confidence in the subject. Because I've experienced firsthand how frustrating school or university can sometimes be, I try to create a relaxed atmosphere where questions are always welcome – even those you might be hesitant to ask in class. Last year, I gave in-person tutoring through the MDLI in Leipzig, gaining my first practical teaching experience. I'm still relatively new to online teaching. However, my own studies have given me the perspective of many online lectures and seminars, allowing me to see things from a student's point of view and develop a good understanding of what works and what doesn't. Technically, I'm already very well equipped. Lessons take place online via Discord or Zoom, and I use an iPad to take live notes on calculations, sketches, and derivations – much like using a real whiteboard. It's important to me that lessons remain as interactive as possible, so you're not just passively watching. Before the first lesson, we can have a short introductory meeting of about 15 minutes. During this time, we can discuss current topics and goals, and also test together whether everything is working properly technically and whether we can work well with the setup. This allows me to prepare effectively, and the actual lesson starts much more relaxed. Whether you're in school, vocational training, or university – my goal isn't just for you to pass the next exam, but for you to develop a better understanding in the long term and perhaps even rediscover some interest in the subject.
