About Shumaiya
I am a third year medical student studying at King’s College London. I would say that I am a positive person- I believe that anything can be achieved with the right mindset and effort! As a student, I have always enjoyed learning and gaining exam techniques throughout my academic years, so I wish to continue this throughout my role as a tutor.

I believe that everyone works at different levels, so the approach will always differ. But I think the best methods of learning how a student works best, is by listening to them. By asking them what areas they’re confident/comfortable with, what techniques they may find easier and then gradually transition to other areas where they may feel less confident in. Being a student myself, I’ve noticed that solidifying the foundation knowledge is an effective way to progress further.
