About Samrat
Hey I am Sam! I am a 3rd year undergraduate student at the University of Glasgow.
I understand that subjects like maths, programming and finance can feel overwhelming. My goal is to make them structured, logical and manageable. I focus on clarity, step-by-step reasoning and building real confidence.

I tailor my classes to my student's personal abilities and priorities. I like to keep my approach to problems open-ended to give my students their own space to learn and grow while providing a helping hand. This way, it results in them having a clear grasp of the fundamentals of the issue which they can further utilise in their next problem. I believe in focusing on fundamentals, key words and the reasoning behind every "why" instead of memorising.
A typical lesson would be an hour a week and willing to provide more if necessary.
I have been tutoring since the age of 15. Along with private one-on-one lessons, I have worked with the Dundee City Council to teach underprivileged children post school teaching clubs. I have been a Teaching Assistant for the age groups of 8 to 18 in Maths, Business and Computing Science at the renowned Gordonstoun International Summer School in Elgin, Scotland.
I can cater to any age group and any level due to my previous experiences. My most recent students are doing their GCSEs / Scottish Nat5s and Highers this year.
