About Israel

A student of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. I am the CEO of Erudite Tutors Academy, the Physics tutor for Erudite Tutors Academy. I am also the Physics tutor for the Part 1 students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Obafemi Awolowo University Ile Ife. I am an experienced and excellent teacher with certification and I can say it's really been a fruitful journey over the years.

When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
I have always wanted to be a teacher right from my childhood days. It has been a long-time dream and passion to instil Knowledge and Impart into students and that has been my drive really. I started putting my talent into action right from secondary school, meaning I started teaching from secondary school.
Tell us more about the subject you teach, and the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
I teach Physics because it's my best subject and the subject I love most. I also teach Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics and so on just to mention a few.
Did you have any role models; or a teacher that inspired you?
I didn't have a teacher who inspired me really! I think I am my inspiration.
What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
The qualities required to be a good tutor are the ability to instil Knowledge, you must be ready to impart to your students, you must be apt and focused and you must be ready to tolerate your students as well.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
Okay, my Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination was drawing close and we had to sit for the mock examination to prepare us ahead of the coming exams.
We were all asked to file up on the assembly ground so we could all hear the results of our Physics exam. And then every student was given their scripts to check their result but I was left out and then I walked up to my teacher for my result and he said oh, you are the student??, your result is inconclusive. I asked him why and he said I aced the objective and the theoretical parts and that's 100%. I also got an award for that including that chemistry, biology, English language and Mathematics. It was a great moment!
What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?
Nothing really.
Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?
Yes, teaching has always been my passion and Long time dream!
What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P) ?
I will say the opportunity given to I and my students by the platform to create a learning environment, instil Knowledge and get the best out of it makes me a SUPERPROF!
