Hi! Thank you for considering me as a tutor.
I am currently a teacher and have been teaching Mathematics for two years (GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level: C1,C2,C3,C4,M1). I obtained my PGCE specialising in secondary mathematics with the University of Bath. If you are currently a secondary school student and would like maths explained in a simple and fun way then I am happy to help!
I feel that it is so important for students to feel confident in maths. All new learning should build incrementally on existing knowledge and new methods should be clear.
I have a 1st class honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London and feel confident in mathematics and its applications to the real world.
Prior to this I gained straight A's in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Economics at A-Level (before A* was introduced). I also have 10 GCSE's at A/A* level. I believe that I understand what it takes to fully comprehend subjects and prepare for examinations in them. I would be happy to go through study skills and revision techniques as part of the tutoring service.
I am happy to tutor younger children from KS2 to KS3. I am also familiar with the 11+ examinations having sat these myself. Feel free to contact me if you would like help!
