About Alyce
I am Alyce, I am a British English teacher. Prior to teaching English, I coached sport!
I enjoy working with students; learning about their culture, hobbies and interests, and also seeing them gain confidence.
I take time to understand your goals, and then we work together to make a plan to achieve those goals!
I can support learners through conversation practice, or structured lessons for development. I am also able to provide a program (level B1+) for dedicated students to commit to to improve their English communication skills and presenting skills.
I am approachable and give praise, so students feel safe in my lessons to try, have a go and learn.

I enjoy teaching through conversation - so you have lots of practice, in a safe, kind, patient environment. Lessons can be structured for development or free conversation practice with a range of topics . I can help guide you to prepare and improve for speaking IELTS. I am also able to support reading development for all ages. I can also provide a program for dedicated learners to commit to.
Lessons are 30 mins or 50 mins. (Program lessons are 60mins)
I have a TEFL 170hr combined certificate.
Previous to teaching English, I coached sports to all ages.
Lessons are for all adults, at all levels of learning English; upon request, I may be able to support learners aged 10+. I am encouraging, kind and a good listener. I don't teach through games etc.
