About Joe
I truly love the process of educating others. In particular I like picking apart and wrestling with the misinformation and disinformation which is rampant in my industry. Personal Training has a dubious reputation in many circles. My purpose here is to help raise the profession in the public eye by shooting down pseudoscience and equipping as many people as possible with the tools to do the same.
Training doesn't have to be as complicated as it may seem. Once I help you fine tune your approach, and pass on some important skills, you will be a swiss army knife of training knowledge able to tackle any goal.

I am strongly evidence-based in my approach to training, and the same applies to my teaching methodology. Depending what you require, I am comfortable teaching the following:
- A general overview of what the facts are, and what we do and do not yet know.
- Why "bro science" is junk and why so many people follow it.
- How to design a program based around any goal.
- How to work around physical or mental limitations.
- How muscles work, and how they interact with the brain.
- Why instagram is one of the worst places to get legitimate information.
- Injury rehabilitation and prevention.
- How to lose or gain weight
- Client adherence to programming and\or diet changes.
- Sales process assistance\feedback
I can provide lessons to anyone of any age, at any level of fitness or knowledge. I make the topic very approachable and easy to replicate when you want to put it into practice.
