About Harry
I am a student at the University of Newcastle, studying Mechanical Engineering. I am passionate about maths and teaching having had a Head of Maths mother. I truly believe that maths can be made easy to anyone, its just the approach to learning that matters, as everyone learns differently. I am friendly and just a normal lad who loves to enjoy themselves in my free time (I play golf and used to compete in gymnastics), but love to understand the Maths and Physics behind the world around me.

During lesson 1 I will gauge the student's current ability, and their desired outcome and grade. From here, we will be able to decide the frequency of sessions and I will tailor make lessons to each student to help them make progress in areas they find more challenging. Homework will be set at the end of each session, then marked and feedback provided in order to gain the most out of their learning.
In school I took my Maths GCSE a year early, achieving a grade 9 (2018), and in Year 11 went on to tutor students from the year below in maths.
I have experience making Mathematics A-Level YouTube videos, and assisting my mother (Head of Maths) transition to teaching online during the pandemic.
