About Presha
Hi! My name is Presha Mehta, and I am a passionate artist and creative currently studying at King’s College London, while working part-time as an online art tutor. As a recent high-school graduate, I offer up-to-date, practical guidance to students who are preparing to apply to art universities and creative programmes in the near future, including support with portfolio development and creative direction. Having successfully gained acceptance to top art schools and achieved strong academic results, I understand the expectations, pressures, and standards required for competitive art applications. I am committed to helping students build confidence in their creative abilities while presenting their work in a clear, compelling, and professional way. In addition to university preparation, I am very comfortable working with younger children. Growing up with many younger cousins has allowed me to develop a patient, friendly, and encouraging teaching style, making me a safe and approachable mentor for children to explore creativity, develop foundational art skills, and enjoy the learning process. Art has always been a central part of my life, and teaching allows me to stay connected to my own creativity while sharing that passion with others. I strive to create a supportive, structured, and inspiring learning environment where students of all ages feel motivated, understood, and proud of their progress.

Art classes for children (ages 7-15): - Tailor-made to explore media and styles of their preference - Holistic learning through the convergence of the analysis of other works and creation of their own art (learning to identify styles, patterns, techniques, colour etc). - The typical length of a lesson is between 60 and 90 mins based on the preferences of the students and parents Portfolio sessions for year 11 and 12 students: - Helping students with selecting, developing, and refining central themes for portfolios, writing essays, and producing works for university applications. - I help students create a portfolio demonstrating strong technique, curatorial skill, and proficiency across various media - The typical length of a lesson is between 60 and 90 mins based on the preferences of the students and parents
