About Megan
A 19-year-old student at CSUF, I've tutored for 2 years at Crementum and LearnToBe. I also enthusiastically guided shy students in a transformative 2-week speech and debate camp in 2022, reveling in the fulfillment of assisting and empowering others.

I am a good tutor because I emphasize my teaching and values on empathy. As a psychology major, I think the best values to have are empathy and patience. I have lots of experience working with others that required many of those two values. I tutored with LearnToBe for a year with around 50 hours of tutoring. With LearnToBe, I tutored less fortunate kids, who had learning disabilities, immigrant parents who didn’t speak English, etc. I also volunteered at my school's speech and debate camp where I worked with 6-9-year-old kids who were very shy and we worked on getting them a speech done and ready to perform at the end of the week. Finally, I have also worked at Hospice Thrift for over a year. At Hospice, we specialize in helping others with their medical care through our donations. I have also gotten to work with middle school and high school volunteers and volunteers with disabilities such as Down syndrome. I have felt immense joy in being able to help all of these people.
