About Ruth

I am very passionate about my students learning at their most. My priority is that my students are engaged and learn-enriching ways. Love teaching others to speak my native language because Spanish is such a rich language and will open the door to more than you can imagine in many ways culturally and intellectually.

About the lesson

My approach to teach my young students is through music and adaptive conversations interest related. I don't stress too much on grammar, or verb conjugation or repetitions (proved not to engage). I adapt my lessons based on my students' level of understanding and learning pace. -Adjust the pace to your students' possibilities -Practice all four skills (reading, listening, writing, speaking) -Encourage conversation -Use visual aids to enhance learning and facilitate the practice

Ruth is so passionate about helping others and teaching Spanish that she does it automatically. She was around my five-year-old son helping him with something he had asked, I walked away for a while and when I came back, he was saying words in Spanish! In general, Ruth is a very caring and compassionate person and wants to help you reach your very best. I highly recommend Ruth!

Seeing Ruth teach twenty 5 year-olds to be multilingual, high-functioning, diligent, working, and gifted learners in spite of some of the struggles and adversities that come with the job, it left me absolutely speechless. I believe strongly that she will make an amazing tutor for your child’s needs, no matter what they may be. Be very confident that your child will be in great hands. She is a wonderful educator!
