About Dan
Hello, I am Teacher Dan. I graduated from a prestigious Project 211 university in China, majoring in International Chinese Education. I hold a national teacher qualification certificate, an international Chinese language teacher certificate, and a Level 2-A Putonghua certificate. With a CET-6 English proficiency, I am able to assist teaching and explain knowledge points in English during class.
I have rich professional and teaching experience. I worked as a Business Supervisor at a large medical group for five years and have taught language courses to students aged 6 to 15 in educational training institutions. Up to now, I have accumulated more than 1000 hours of Chinese teaching experience. As a mother of a 10-year-old boy, I fully understand children’s learning characteristics and have developed interesting and efficient teaching methods to help young learners enjoy learning Chinese. I am good at breaking down complex knowledge into simple, clear and vivid content suitable for learners of all ages.
My students come from many countries including Mexico, the United States, France, South Korea and Italy. I help learners speak Chinese confidently, improve their cross-cultural communication skills, and prepare for HSK and YCT examinations. Hello, I'm Teacher Dan. I worked as a Business Supervisor at a large medical group for 5 years, and I also taught language to students aged 6 to 15 at training institutions. I was born into a family with deep roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I have spent years studying TCM culture, Buddhism, Taoism and food wellness culture. I combine Mandarin learning with cultural knowledge so you can understand the logic behind the language.
• Explore TCM culture, Yin-Yang and Five Elements, Taoism stories and Buddhist philosophy to gain insight into Eastern wisdom.
• Learn how customs shape Mandarin expressions, so you catch the hidden context behind words.
