I thoroughly believe in dialogue being the key to understanding
Lessons involve me guiding the student in such a way that they discover (and then explain) key results
Very austere, serious lessons drain the will to live out of both students and teachers and hinder understanding
Multiple studies show that smaller amounts of challenging homework (with callbacks to previous topics) is far better than hours of rote repitition
