About Uswah
Hello everyone. As your tutor/mentor, I teach subjects like Math, English, Kannada, science, and Hindi. But my journey to being here was anything but straight. When I was your age, I struggled with the pressure to be 'just one thing.' I loved the logic of Mathematics, but I was equally drawn to the stories and connections in English and the cultural depth of Kannada. I felt like I was spreading myself too thin. So, my message to you today is this: Never be afraid of the word 'and.'" Don't be just a science student, be a science student and someone who reads poetry. Don't be just a language student, be a language student and someone who understands the data in a graph. (Connect back to your subjects): "This is why I teach a variety of subjects. Each one is a tool. Math gives you the blueprint for the world. English gives you the voice to change it. Kannada/Hindi gives you the root to understand who you are.
