About Ofelia
I admit that I initially struggled to find a simple way to explain accrual basis accounting. Over 10 years, I developed a methodical approach to bank reconciliation, depreciation, and GAAP fundamentals.
My focus remains on double-entry bookkeeping and tracking accounts payable or receivable. I work primarily with career-driven individuals who need immediate results. My students appreciate direct feedback on their progress.

Simplicity defines my teaching philosophy because learning should not feel like an abstract burden. I confess that I prefer concrete examples over theory when explaining complex financial concepts. Students receive a hands-on mini project after every class to apply what we discussed.
