About Susan
Holding an International Master title means I understand that natural talent often fails without rigorous discipline. Having competed in over 80 rated tournaments across Australia and internationally, I apply 6 years of experience to strip away ineffective habits. My coaching follows a strict structure covering opening principles, tactical patterns, and board vision.
Developing calculation and visualization alongside time management defines my methodology. Tournament preparation remains essential for those serious about their rating. Recording and notation are mandatory, as is endgame technique mastery. I enjoy seeing students transition from casual players to disciplined competitors who respect the board.
