About Richard
I am a professional tutor and writer. I have taught as adjunct faculty at an elite New England university, at University of Maryland-European Division, and at community college. I have script-doctored a mini-series for Singapore television and written five docudramas for that network. A TV film based on a short story of mine, and that I worked on, was given five stars out of five by the Straits Times newspaper (Singapore).

When teaching script-writer, I want to work with serious writers. By that, I mean people who are enthusiastic about learning to write and finishing a successful project. You don't need to come to the sessions with polished skills - that's what I will teach you, helping you to become a successful writer.
I work with what the writing students bring and focus on their interests and their vision. I don't impose my vision or biases on any student, I just help them sharpen their skills and their writing.
