About Jacqueline

I have studied A-Levels in the UK and obtained A*A*A*, and I have excellent student scholarship of 25% at UQ.

As a math teacher, I prioritize clarity, logical thinking, and a deep understanding of concepts. I believe that mathematics is not just about memorizing formulas but about developing problem-solving skills that can be applied to real-life situations. My teaching approach is structured yet adaptable, allowing me to tailor lessons to each student’s strengths and challenges. I break down complex topics into simpler steps, ensuring that students grasp the reasoning behind each method. Patience and encouragement are key aspects of my teaching, as I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel confident tackling mathematical problems. My goal is to help students not only improve their skills but also develop an appreciation for the logical beauty of mathematics.

About the lesson

My math lessons focus on building a strong conceptual foundation while developing problem-solving skills and logical thinking. I emphasize understanding the “why” behind mathematical concepts rather than just memorizing formulas, ensuring that students grasp the reasoning behind each step. My teaching approach is structured yet adaptable, catering to different learning styles and paces. I break down complex topics into manageable parts, using real-world examples to make abstract concepts more relatable. Through interactive exercises, step-by-step explanations, and targeted practice, I help students build confidence in their mathematical abilities and develop critical thinking skills that extend beyond the classroom.
