About Akash
I am currently an offer holder for medicine at the University of Liverpool. I not only have experience tutoring younger students in the sciences at school, but I also have experience being the tutee. I have experienced the feeling of boredom and disengagement during a lesson and strive to make sure my lessons aren't the same!
I have achieved 7 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s at GCSE (I have grade 9s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics).

For me, the student should always be the centre of any lesson. I strive to make sure the lesson is tailored to the students needs by asking which topics they struggle with. This ensures any doubts are understood before moving on.
I usually follow a logical, step-by-step approach to teaching, however I appreciate this does not always work with all students, so I am open to changing my approach if I feel the student needs it.
I will regularly challenge my students, making sure they are engaged throughout the lesson.
I believe that students shouldn't be shy to ask questions and will encourage them to do so at every opportunity!
